Ayelet Frish became the late President Shimon Peres’ advisor in 2003, back when he served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Development of the Negev and the Galilee. Over many years of working with Peres, Frish played a major role in his endeavors across various fields. She ran multiple political campaigns and promoted Peres’ public agenda; most notably, Ayelet was a leading and influential figure in the campaign to elect Peres as President of the State of Israel. Throughout his tenure as President of Israel, Frish served as the official spokeswoman of the President’s Office, Peres’ chief advisor on media, communications, and strategic planning, and ran many international campaigns.
During those years, the institution of the President’s Office, and President Peres himself, gained record popularity, extensive positive media coverage around the world, and made a significant contribution to the international status of the State of Israel.
