Expert Analyst- ‘Prospects for Israeli Politics’ Forum hosted by leading Abu Dhabi Think Tank ‘The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies

In 2022, Ayelet Frish addressed the “Prospects for Israeli Politics: Following the Knesset Elections” symposium, which explored the state of Israeli politics in the aftermath of the elections to the 25th Knesset. The symposium was held in Abu Dhabi and hosted by the prestigious Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR), a strategic research center that advises the Emirati government.

Among the participants in the symposium were media personalities, political experts, senior researchers, and entrepreneurs from Israel and the Emirates. The event dealt with significant regional and global issues, with an emphasis on Israel’s domestic policy, political developments in Israel in the context of the general elections, and Israel’s foreign policy pertaining to strategy, diplomacy, economics, and security.

Frish proudly represented Israel, presenting her analysis to senior Emirati researchers and advisors on account of her expertise as a veteran strategic advisor, and her decades-long experience as Chief Communications and Strategy Advisor for President Shimon Peres and the President’s Office. Due to her wide-ranging experience and knowledge, Frish was chosen to deliver her analysis and answer questions in front of an international audience of policy experts, focused on the importance of the Abraham Accords peace treaties and the expansion of the circle of peace, the political reality in Israel, the division into the right- and left-wing blocs, and the dilemmas leading up to the Knesset elections. The insightful analysis shed light on important issues at this significant international forum and demonstrated the depth and complexities of the multifaceted Israeli political system and society. It also reinforced the importance of deepening the ties of friendship and peace with the United Arab Emirates that began with the Abraham Accords.
